
Still don’t have plans for Halloween weekend? On Friday, October 31, Club Underground is happening at Grand Star Jazz Club in Chinatown. Both floors of the club will open with Larry G. and I DJing open-to-close. Dress your best because there will be a costume contest as well. Underground’s Halloween party always sells out and tickets are going fast on Dice right now, so get yours as soon as possible. This is a 21+ event.

Klub Nocturno’s Halloween party set is set for Saturday, November 1, at Catch One with all five rooms open. I’ll be DJing in the new wave vs. darkwave room. Tickets for the 18+ party have already sold out online, but there will be a very limited amount available at the door. Check Nocturno’s Instagram for details.

A few daytime events:
Dia de los Muertos events events are happening across Los Angeles. I stopped by both Gloria Molina Grand Park and Olvera Street earlier this week and suggest visiting these daytime exhibitions, which are walking distance from each other.

Also, this is the last weekend to catch Let There Be Gwar at Beyond the Streets. It’s a fun exhibition focused on the art and legacy of the long-running shock rock band.

There are a few shows coming up featuring bands/artists who have previously appeared on Beatique. Acidtrain celebrates the release of his new album, Away I Go, on Thursday, October 30, at Harvard and Stone. Details are up on Instagram for the free, 21+ show.
