It’s been a while, but I finally made a new Beatique mix. It’s a bunch of relatively new music, a mix of indie, darkwave and synthpop with a touch of shoegaze. I’d say more, but DJs talking about DJing is boring af, which is why I hate Threads. Anyhow, give the mix a listen here or on Mixcloud. Share it if you like it. I finally had some time to make a new Beatique Mix. This one is shorter than usual, but the tunes cross genre from Italo disco to dub, so it’s a fun one. At least, it was a fun one to make. It took a while to get this recording on to Mixcloud, but you can now hear the first hour of my set from Club Underground for Gorillaz x Daft Punk night, recorded live at Grand Star Jazz Club on August 11, 2023.
Since I’m playing a darkwave and post-punk set at Underground x Shadowplay this Friday night and have Disco Matinee coming up on Sunday, I wanted to bring together all those styles in this month’s Beatique mix, which you can listen to now on Mixcloud or via the embed below.
